what is U shaped staircase ?

 

U-shaped stairs consist of two parallel straight staircases that have a 180-degree turn. These staircases are visually more appealing than straight staircases and take up less linear floor space. The U-shape is similar to the L-shape because it can be located in a corner.

 

Stair Widths:

For stairs serving a single user (typically private residential), a minimum of 36” (91 cm) is required. In general public spaces a minimum of 44” (112 cm) must be met—providing ample space for one person and allowing the tight passage of two people. Comfortable two person stair widths range between 49” (125 cm) to 60” (152 cm). For three simultaneous users, a minimum of 74” (188 cm) is recommended. Handrails must be placed every 60” (152 cm).

How To Order?

 

  1. contact us with related interior steel wood stairs project information, it’s better if you have project drawing. We will check and provide our recommendation accordinlgy, if not, please measure floor height, stair well size and send us jobsite pictures.
  2. we quote the stairs and railing price according to measurement and material.
  3. we provide designed drawing with material and size details after price confirmed. Most is pdf version made by Auto CAD, if needed, we can also provide 3D drawing.
  4. after clients confirmed final drawing for the prefabricate steel wood stairs and railing, we start to produce against deposit payment.
  5. we do complete trial installation, and send you pictures or you come to check by yourself.
  6. we do surface for steel and wood after trial installation.
  7. we pack stairs and arrange shipment.
  8. stairs come to jobsite, clients install as per our install guidance.
